  Members of V-812 and representives of the American Legion Post 16 and VFW 1984 presented a Flag program and presented a flag to all the First Graders in the Canton School District on March 12, 2009. Atotal of 300 Flags were passed out and the members of V-812 had as much fun as the kids! Milt Murphy and Pete Mosher also covered the first grade in Cuba, IL.If you have'nt done your Flags for First Graders yet, now is the time to do it.

Members of V-812 presented 5 Nurses Scholarships recently. All the candidates are from the Graham Hospital School of Nursing. Presenting the Scholarships are, Steve Wagner, Commissar Intendant V-812, Wally Hammond, Correspondant V-812, Jim Watts, Chef De Gare V-812 and Gerald Smith Cheminot V-812. V-812 is proud of thier involvement in the Nurses Training Program and look forward to this annual Presentation.

 

V-812 participated in the annual Christmas Walk in Canton, IL. We gave rides to many of the Holiday revelers that included Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph. Helping the riders on is Ray Studer, Harold Rose and Wally Hammond and Driving is Gerald Smith all members of V-812.
